NETCARE is a network of researchers and scientists who collaborate to address key uncertainties in remote Canadian environments. Their research activities focus on characterizing aerosol-climate connections: specifically, Carbonaceous Aerosol; Ice Cloud Formation and Impacts; Ocean-Atmosphere Interactions; and Implications of Measurements on Simulations of Atmospheric Processes and Climate.
SOCAAR Investigators who are also NETCARE collaborators include: Jon Abbatt (Principal Investigator); Greg Evans; Charles Jia; and Jennifer Murphy.
NETCARE's Martine Lizotte directs a movie on the shifting Arctic and the scientists working towards understanding these changes. See the movie here
NETCARE researchers completed a second flight campaign to the Arctic, flying from Spitsbergen to Nunavut to North West Territories. Read about this campaign on the research blog.
